An Argentine judge has indicted the country’s former President Carlos Menem for allegedly trying to cover up evidence related to the bombing of the AMIA center in Buenos Aires in 1994, in which 85 people were killed. The Supreme Court of Argentina on Thursday night ordered the reopening of an investigation into a 1994 bombing in Buenos Aires' Jewish community center, which left 85 people killed. Mexico Friday extradited Miguel Angel Beltran, alias Jaime Cienfuegos, who Colombian authorities say is a member of the FARC's International Committee. A US advocacy group and a Venezuelan exile said Tuesday they have filed suit seeking five billion dollars in damages from Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and state oil companies for alleged human rights abuses. The PSNI has arrested a 32-year-old man wanted on terrorism charges in Spain. The man was detained this morning on foot of a European Arrest Warrant and is expected to appear in court later today. MADRID - A Spanish court official says 14 people have gone on trial charged with involvement with Islamic terrorist groups and recruiting extremists to fight in Iraq.
