LADDO's objective is to identify, locate and broadcast anti-democratic attacks in order to:

In summary, we strive to strengthen democratic institutions by creating timely public awareness of possibly harmful behavior.

What we do is to monitor and analyze the media (TV, radio, newspapers and Internet) in order to identify articles and reports that are not well-documented, are misleading, engage in fear mongering, or incite hatred or confrontation among ethnic, cultural or religious minorities in the Spanish speaking world.

To counter this trend, LADDO will have a network of monitors in Latin America, the United States, Spain, Mexico and other countries. The monitors will be carefully selected based on their skills, objectivity, impartiality and respect for the truth.

LADDO will publish the materials that mislead or misinform. LADDO will send the authors, reporters or editors true and confirmed information and demand corrections.

LADDO will publish in-depth reports and analysis about specific subjects authored by well-known individuals, academics, researchers and intellectuals who have demonstrated respect for the truth throughout their careers.

LADDO will also monitor and re-publish news and articles that due to censorship are difficult to read in your local newspaper or to watch in your TV.

Thus, LADDO will be an archive of objective information to serve honest media and the community to defend our freedoms and our democratic institutions.
