Omar Osama bin Laden, one of the al Qaeda leader's 19 sons, is seeking political asylum in Spain after landing at Madrid's Barajas airport.
Bin Laden's son made a scheduled stop-over in Spain on flight from Cairo to Morocco on Monday. He has been is at the airport's asylum lounge answering questions since then. Reasons for his asylum request aren't yet clear but Spanish authorities say they'll deal with bin Laden's case within the next 72 hours.
Omar bin Laden was recently denied asylum by the British government after marrying a 52-year-old British woman and denouncing his father's activities.
